Architecture & Engineering For
Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences Industries
Plump Engineering brings extensive experience to pharmaceutical, life sciences, and laboratory facilities, from ISO-classified cleanrooms to the process equipment and HVAC systems that keep them in spec.
Services for Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences & Lab Environments
Designing high-performance pharmaceutical, life science, laboratory, and medical device manufacturing environments requires precise environmental control, rigid contamination prevention, and seamless technical integration. At Plump Engineering, Inc. (PEI), we provide specialized architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering tailored for cGMP facilities, cleanrooms, R&D labs, and medical device production. From complex process piping and HEPA ventilation to heavy equipment anchorage, our multidisciplinary team delivers compliant, highly efficient utility infrastructure built around your operational demands.
Cleanroom Design
Structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for cleanrooms built and classified to ISO standards.
HVAC and Ventilation
HVAC and HEPA filtration systems engineered to hold the precise air quality and pressure requirements pharmaceutical production demands.
Engineering for Process Equipment
Structural, electrical, and plumbing support for process skids, bottling and packaging lines, and the equipment that keeps production moving.
New Plants
Ground-up engineering for new pharmaceutical and laboratory facilities, designed around process from the first drawing.
Remodel Existing Plants
Engineering for expansions and remodels of existing pharmaceutical facilities, coordinated to keep production and compliance intact.
Feasibility Studies
Early engineering analysis that tells you what a site or building can support before you commit capital to it.
A cleanroom for Eloviz Pharmaceutical Company
PEI was contracted to provide structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering and construction documents for a new ISO-7/ISO-8 cleanroom. The scope included structural support for rooftop HVAC units and the water process line skid, plumbing for domestic water, future bottling equipment, and condensate lines, electrical power to the cleanroom's lighting, equipment, workbenches, and packaging lines, and new HVAC and HEPA filtration systems engineered to meet ISO-7 and ISO-8 classification.
Every discipline had to hit the same classification standard, from the roof to the receptacles, for the room to pass as one certified space.
